Hi, I have been using my multispeq quite a bit and I think it may be beginning to revolt. Last week when I was taking measurements in the field it no longer shut itself off after 2 minutes. It did the same thing today and took measurements normally until it completely quit. I thought maybe it needed new batteries but when I opened the battery compartment the batteries were extremely hot. So I left the lid off until they cooled off and then took them out of the unit. The good news is that I had completed my meausurements and all it looks like they've all been downloaded.

Hmmm... for some reason the shutoff may have got reset? That's no problem - just open the chrome app, go to "device" and "auto-shutoff" and set it to 2 minutes. You should be good -

Sorry I'm not exactly finding the options you're talking about. In the photosynq app on my phone I only have the option of selecting the measurement device but there's no auto-shutoff option that I can locate. Can you be a little more specific? Thanks.

My mistake. You need to download the Chrome app.

Come over and I'll show you, that's probably the easiest way :\
