During measurement readings using Photosynq device there is a Checksum error that continuous appears on my Samsung TabA model SM-T280. Once this appears, I have to re-take the measurement. Other times, I have closes the program and re-open it. The error message persists in both instances.

Does anyone have thoughts on what might be the issue? Thanks.

Checksum error errors appear when the measurement is not properly transmitted from the instrument to the phone. So re-taking the measurement is necessary and intended. If this issue comes up multiple times, restart the Instrument by pushing the button in the back for about 10s, then connect it and continue taking measurement.

How often do you have these errors? We had those issues with some phones/tablets in the past.

same here, Xiaomi A3...

Hi Daniel,

which protocol are you using and what version of the MultispeQ (v1 or v2) and what firmware do you have? Is the checksum error shown every time or does it appear randomly?
