Hi folk! NPQ it's (qE + qT + qI); source (http://www.plantphysiol.org/content/125/4/1558.short)
Can we use MultispeQ for calculate qE for example?

Yes, you absolutely can!
You have to create a protocol, to do the dark adaptation, to measure the fluorescence kinetics under constant light and the dark recovery. It is a little bit tricky, but we have done these measurements in the past with the MultispeQ beta.
Please let me know if you need some help building the protocol.

Hi, I started building a protocol but abandoned it for now to work on other things. The protocol works, you can see some output data in project but the macro does not do all calculations yet.

Feel free to take a look at project and protocol.

Hi all, The new RIDES protocols, possible with Firmware 2.2 and up, make this much easier to do. Stay tuned! Dave

I have a Multispeq v1.0 with firmware 1.17 - where to find and how to install firmware 2.2 ?

Thank You. However, on https://github.com/Photosynq/PhotosynQ-Firmware/releases I the latest beta version is 1.21 (without .hex file). Would be so kind to give me any advice how to install it on new Multispeq 1.0 ?

We just added a new chapter in the help center on how to install firmware updates. So please check out How to Install Firmware Updates.

Thank You very much. And it is possible to use RIDES protocol on existing firmware (i.e. version 1.21) ?

Hi. I've found a great source, that can help to solve your problem. Also, you can check domyessay reviews to trust them.

Hello Dave, I just recalibrated our MultispeQ v 2.0 with Firmware 2.3. It is working fine now. Please suggest working protocols for measuring components of NPQ = qE+qT+qI.

Hello Jonathan R Pleban, Is your devised protocol for induction and relaxation kinetics available for others. If yes, while starting new project, How can I select that specific protocol for measuring qE and qI components of NPQ. Regards Habib R Athar, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan.
