Assessing use of GrainSpeq as a way to screen for highly toxic grain samples. Focusing on maize and groundnut samples naturally infected with Fusarium spp. or Aspergillus spp. and containing the mycotoxins fumonisin or aflatoxin, respectively.
This protocol is used with the GrainspeQ device. It starts by measuring electronic offset followed by PAM fluorescence (Green measuring, Blue Actinic), spectrally resolved UV excited fluorescence, and 340nm-780nm color-reflectance. Use with the GrainspeQ device only please.
