Created project on website, but doesn't show up on my phone!

By Greg Austic

QUESTION (from Anne Stanton) I've set up a new project to measure phi2 and SPAD on corn. It shows up on the website but not when I log in on my phone. Is there a lag time with regard to when it can be used in the field? *RESPONSE: * Yes - you need to sync your phone with the website. What's the impact of dew on Photosynq measurements?

By Anne Stanton

Hi, I'm trying to use photosynq to measure phi2 and SPAD on wheat in farmer's fields. The other day I went out to take measurements and it was extremely damp. I tried to shake off the dew with my fingers, but it was still quite damp. Should I be using a paper towel to dry them before taking measurements? What effect, if any, does that have on the data? Thanks

This is to save battery life, but it can be confusing especially when using the Chrome app because you can continue to take measurements with the battery power off! The device is powered either by the batteries, or by the USB cable when connected to your computer - so even whe... read more

Battery replacement and problems during shipping

By Greg Austic

See images below. This is the battery compartment for the MultispeQ Beta. You remove the back cover (sometime requires some force, then you can replace the batteries. If for some reason the battery boxes come lose (as seen below), you can just put them back with the wiring snug between them and the top of the case as seen here. Note the connection to the circuit board ... read more
