In order to assess those parameters, you need to dark adapt your leaf, take measurements in the light, followed by dark recovery period. During each period you have to probe the fluorescence and give saturating pulses of actinic light (basically what you do with a simple ΦII measurement protocol, just multiple times). Those measurements take between 30-40 min. The publication below explains how the values are derived and what a measurement looks like (Figure 2).
