QUESTION (Susana):

We are trying to use photosynQ and it have been a long time since we used. The firmeware of our device is v0.37 and now there is available a new one (v0.45), do we need to update it? Or can we use the old version?

Can we use the new protocols if we don´t update it?

We made all steps from the page but it doesn’t work. We downloaded teensy and the other requiered file, but we couldn’t update it.

Can you help us?

ANSWER (Greg):

Hmmm... so you were not able to load the hex file into the teensy bootloader? Just to clarify, the load HEX file is available in the File dropdown menu (see image below).

Please try this: Load the hex file (in teensy window, go to file --> load hex file). Nothing will appear to happen, that's ok. Then go to the chrome app, and to device --> reboot . The teensy window will show that it's uploading the firmware. Unplug the device, plug it back in, and reconnect to it using the chrome app. Now go back to the device dialogue in the chrome app - it should show the most up to date firmware (v0.45).

Does this work?

Greg

Ok! We already did that, but how do I know if the upload was succesful?

Greg, we finally could do it! Thanks for your help

Phew! Great. I hope all else goes well. Currently the chrome app is the benchmark for using the device. The Android app works, but it has some quirks - we're hoping to resolve those as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience!

Hi. After updating to version 0.45 (device id 137) the menu Device --- Calibration info, dont see the information (blank). In version 0.42, this information was present. Thanks.

Enter code 1005+ into the console (make sure to click the raw mode). This should bring up the calibration information. We have had a problem were userdef #10 gets populated with a number (not sure why), and this makes it so you can't see the calibration info. If you see a number in user def #10 (you will see it if you scroll down the output from 1005+), then enter the code 1033+0+, this should set that number to 0 and fix the issue

I enter code 1005+ into console (raw mode) and code 1033+0+ and may device now dont work. Device information - blank and RED LED flashing ????

Where can I download old firmware?
